Take a course in tech policy!

The College of Science and Engineering and the Humphrey School have created a new Ethical Discussions in Science, Technology, and Engineering Policy course designed to be accessible to both policy students and science/engineering/technology students. The course is a great opportunity for students with an interest in tech policy.

The course brings together engineering, science, and public policy students to explore the multiple perspectives, needs, and ethical dilemmas surrounding a single issue. Students will hear perspectives from government, corporate sectors, academia, and communities to understand the different lenses through which each group views the same issue.

The one-credit course will be offered in spring 2025 and aims to foster future leaders capable of identifying ethical dilemmas within the policy and technology landscape and equip them to collaborate across disciplines and craft sustainable solutions to complex issues.
