Arts, Sciences, and Engineering Graduate Commencement

The graduate commencement ceremony is open to:
- master's, doctoral, and post-baccalaureate certificate students in the College of Science and Engineering and College of Liberal Arts
- graduates with degrees that were officially awarded in 2022, 2023, or 2024
- students who expect to complete their graduate degree by Dec. 31, 2024, and have met their program's eligibility requirements for commencement attendance
Students with degrees pending should check with their program for any specific criteria regarding who is allowed to participate in the commencement ceremony. Please check with your program before you register if you are unsure of the commencement attendance eligibility requirements.
The deadline to register for the graduate commencement ceremony is Friday, March 15.
Eligible students should have received an email in their UMN account from MarchingOrder with instructions on how to register for and particiate in the commencement ceremony.
